Nepal is the country which boasts the highest; sky-piercing mountains in the world. Having Majestic 8,000 m Mountains here is no surprise at all. Mt. Dhaulagiri 8,167 m is one the arduous Mountains with the picturesque view and stunning landmarks. The enchanting beauty of this mountain is enough to capture the heart of every visitors passing by. This trek comprises of two of the highest massifs in the world -Mt. Dhaulagiri 8,167m and Mt. Annapurna 8,091 m, which are equally beautiful and popular white-dove mountains. Trekking through these mountains is no less than a fantasy. Trekking area consists of massive mountain ranges of Dhaulagiri and fifteen mountains peak in the groups that stand at an altitude of 7000 m.

The trail passes through a wide range of climate, vegetation, and cultures, mesmerizing lush vegetation of rain and temperate forests, dry Tibetan landscape contoured by winds, Hindu rice farmers, and the highland Buddhist dwellers. You will experience the radical changes in the landmarks and its people daily, or even hourly.

The ornate view of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain range will always accompany your trek. This trek takes you to the deepest gorge in the world between the two massifs of Dhaulagiri 8,167 m and Annapurna 8,091 m with only 35 km apart and ventures through the strenuous mountain pass like French pass (5360 m) and Thapa Pass (5200 m). Beginning of March to end of May and beginning of September to end of December is the perfect time to explore these Magnificent Mountains and vivid landscape out here.

  1. Day 1 ARRIVAL

    Savor the taste of hustle and bustle in Kathmandu, where everyone would seem busy but never too busy to greet you with smile. Our representative will be at airport to greet and escort you to the hotel. In the evening, we will brief about the itinerary over dinner.

  2. Day 2 KATHMANDU SIGHTSEEING

    Kathmandu valley is an ancient city with diverse cultures and traditions. It has significant part in the history of Nepal. Home to 7 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, it has been chosen as a cultural and historical site of study and excursions throughout the history. We’ll observe some of the UNESCO world heritage sites in Kathmandu throughout a day.

  3. Day 3 DRIVE TO BENI (870m)

    Right after the breakfast, we head to Beni. It is about 8-9 hours drive along the beautiful villages, rivers and the highway. Our stay will be at Beni;

  4. Day 4 TREK TO MURI (1,850m)

    This day’s trail will be steep walk all the way to Muri from where we will see crystal clear views of 7th highest in the world; Mt.Dhaulagiri (8167m). Muri is a beautiful Magar village where we can observe distinct Magar culture.

  5. Day 5 TREK TO BOGHARA (2,080m)

    The trail descends from the Muri village and enters to streams and fields and again climbing a ridge to reach the pass from where we can see Mt. Ghustung South (6,465m). Descending to the Myagdi Khola and trek along its west bank to the village of Naura from where we will climb a little before traversing a grassy hill and climbing a steep slope with switch-backs, again descend through a forest and terraced fields to Boghara (2,080m). 

    We will spend a night at Boghara;

  6. Day 6 TREK TO DOBANG (2,500m)

    Initially, the trail descends through terraced fields to a small ridge, later through a forest to Jyardan which is the most remote village in this part. After crossing a rocky area which then descends before climbing again to Lipshe where there is one single hut. The trail continues through a forest to Lapche Kharka and then climbs to Dobang. This day, the path is quite difficult and sometimes we might need to use ropes.

  7. Day 7 TREK TO ITALIAN BASE CAMP (3,660m)

    On the way to Italian base camp, we will walk through glacier moraine and snow, and in some places requires ropes to climb. We will have other- worldly experience as we will walk through Chonbarden gorge. The trail passes through alpine forests and from the Base Camp, we will have mountain panorama all around.

  8. Day 8 REST AND AACMATILIZATION DAY

    Spending a day acclimatizing to the thinning of the air is mandatory. It is important that our body acclimatizes to the high altitude and be adjusted for higher altitudes in the days to follow. While we’re here, we can go up a walk towards the French Base Camp. The views from a moraine ridge include that of Tukuche, little Eiger, and icefall from the north east face of the mountain.

  9. Day 9 TREK TO GLACIER CAMP (4,200m)

    After the body is used to being in high altitudes, we now move towards Glacier Camp at early morning. This trail is prone to stone fall, which passes through a narrow gorge. The route involves risks and strength, but the surreal sceneries will pay off the effort, this day we will stay

     Overnight near Glacier Camp;

  10. Day 10 REST AND AACMATILIZATION DAY AT GLACIER CAMP

    We can either trek our way to Dhaulagiri Base Camp however, it is necessary to adjust our body into the thin air of high altitude. . As per as the name, this place offers the views from a moraine ridge include that of Tukuche, little Eiger, and icefall from the north east face of the mountain.

     Overnight at Glacier Camp;

  11. Day 11 TREK TO DHAULAGIRI BASE CAMP (4,748m)

    This is the day we reach Dhaulagiri Base Camp. From here, we can look up at the impressive north face of Dhaulagiri I (8,167m) dominating the skyline to our right. Dhaulagiri is the tallest white mountain of Nepal and 7th tallest in the world. As the other peaks of the country have steeper slopes, ice does not accumulate as much as here in Dhaulagiri. As we will reach the Base Camp, we will enjoy the unbeatable sceneries of Dhaulagiri II and IV as well as Tukuche. We will also see the trail that climbs towards the summit.

  12. Day 12 REST AND AACMATILIZATION DAY AT DHAULAGIRI BASE CAMP

    Another day is added for the acclimatization to the thin air and high altitude to be on the safe side. Explore the opportunity to view awe-stricking scenery from this place.

  13. Day 13 TREK VIA FRENCH COL (5,360m) TO HIDDEN VALLEY (5,050m)

    After the rest at Dhaulagiri Base Camp, our trek resumes to Hidden Valley. Passing through the French Col. we will require the climbing gears like ice axe and crampons to continue the trek. We will need to muster up our physical strength and mental composure for this is one of the toughest and most adventurous parts of the trek.

  14. Day 14 OPTION1: EXPLORATION AND WALKS AROUND HIDDEN VALLEY OPTION 2 OPTIONAL ASCENTS TO SHAMPUS PEAK (6,060m).

    This rest day is to absorb the sceneries of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Nilgiri Himal in our cameras and memory. It further facilitates in acclimatization that is necessary to traverse the Dhampus Pass (5240m) the next day.

     Overnight in Hidden Valley;

  15. Day 15 TREK VIA DHAMPUS PASS (5,240m) TO YAK KHARKA (3,680m)

    Trail now descends from the Hidden Valley to the Dhampus Pass and continues to Yak Kharka. Crossing the Dhampus Peak we will traverse avalanche prone slopes and then descend steeply to Yak Kharka. 

    Stay overnight in Yak kharka;

  16. Day 16 TREK TO MARPHA (2,670m)

    Trek further continues to the windy town of Marpha. This area is very popular for the apples, apple wines and the view. We will explore the town inhabited by the Thakali people with their exquisite culture, cuisine and hospitality.

    Overnight in Marpha;

    Highlights: Buddhist Monasteries, Thakali people, Thakali cuisines, Apple Farm etc.

  17. Day 17 JEEP RIDE POKHARA (1190 m)

    Couple of hours of jeep ride will take us to Tatopani. Enjoying the stops and waterfall views we will reach Pokhara in about 7-8 hours. In the evening, you can explore the beautiful lakeside in Pokhara which comes alive at night.

  18. Day 18 POKHARA TO KATHMANDU

    After 6-7 hours’ drive along the beautiful villages, rivers, and highway, we will reach the heart of the country where the necessary preparation for the departure day will be carried out.

     Overnight stay at hotel;

  19. Day 19 DEPARTURE

    Depending on your flight time, you will be transferred to the airport. The airport check-in is 3 hours prior to the departure time and the hotel checkout time is usually 12 P.M.
