This 8-day trek is short and fairly easy route ascends and descends through the picturesque village of Ulleri, Ghorepani, and Ghandruk offering us some of the best views of the Annapurna Himalayas. One of the major highlights of this trip is a climb to Poonhill (3,210 m), viewpoint to possibly the most spectacular mountain landscapes on Earth flaunting impressive panoramic view of the Himalayan giants (Dhaulagiri (8,167 m), Fishtail/Machhapuchre (6997 m), Annapurna (8,091 m), Annapurna II and many more.
Altitude is less of the problem while on this trek. Thus, one need not worry about possible altitude sickness during the trek. Additionally, this venture is less strenuous and short in duration. Thus, anyone physically fit irrespective of age with limited time can be a part of it.

- Day 1 ARRIVAL IN KATHMANDU
Our representative will be waiting at the airport to greet and escort you to the hotel. In the evening, the representative will give you a brief insight on the itinerary.

- Day 2 KATHMANDU TO POKHARA
On this day, we head towards Pokhara early in the morning. It’s a relaxing drive of 6-7 hours along the Trishuli River and picturesque villages and hills. Upon reaching Pokhara, we can stroll around the lakeside.

- Day 3 DRIVE TO NAYAPUL AND TREK TO TIKHEDHUNGA
After breakfast, we drive towards Nayapul. From there, we start our trek towards Poonhill. Passing through the Modi Khola and dense forest of rhododendrons and oak, we reach Tikhedunga.
Overnight in Tikhedunga;
- Day 4 TREK TO GHOREPANI
After the breakfast, continuing our path below and climbing uphill we reach Ulleri. From Ulleri, we go through the Magar village alongside the beautiful sceneries of mountains and reach Ghorepani. Ghorepani is a beautiful village which opens to the splendid views of pristine mountains such as Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Annapurna I and many more.
Overnight in Ghorepani;
- Day 5 TREK UPTO POONHILL (3210m) AND TREK TO GHANDRUK (1940m)
Early morning after breakfast we head for Poonhill. Poonhill is often famous for the mesmerizing views of sunrise and sunsets over incredible range of high Himalayas such as Dhaulagiri (8167m), Annapurna I (8091m), Annapurna II (7937m), Annapurna III (7855m), Annapurna IV (7525m), Annapurna South (7219m), Nilgiri (6940m), Tukuche (6920m), Varaha Shikhar (7847m), Lamjung Himal (6931m) and many more. We rest at Poonhill for a while and continue our journey. After about 3 hours of walk through the alpine forest of oaks, rhododendron and others, we reach Ghandruk which is the largest Gurung village rich in its authentic culture and tradition. This village also offers the scenic views of Annapurna South, Gangapurna, Machhapuchhre, Annapurna III, Hiunchuli and other mountains from the viewpoint.

- Day 6 TREK TO NAYAPUL AND DRIVE T O POKHARA, STAY IN POKHARA (850)
This is the last day of our trek in Annapurna Region. From Ghandruk, today, we leave for Pokhara through the descending trail through the rhododendron forests and reach Birethanti. From Birethanti, we walk down hill and follow Modi Khola to reach Nayapul. Resting for a while, from there, we head to Pokhara which will take us about an hour of drive. In the evening after reaching Pokhara, we stay at the same hotel. If we get spare time, we can go for evening walk or try cycling around the Lakeside of Pokhara. We stay at “The City of Lakes” popularly known for Pokhara tonight;
- Day 7 POKHARA TO KATHMANDU
After 6-7 hours’ drive we will reach the heart of the country where the necessary preparation for the departure day will be carried out. This is a day for you and therefore you can explore the shops and spas of the city or join the evening worshipping ceremony at Pasupatinath Temple which is a divine spiritual experience.

- Day 8 DAY 8:DEPARTURE
Depending on your flight time you will be transferred to the airport. The airport check-in is 3 hours prior to the departure time and the hotel checkout time is usually 12 P.M. Our representative will meet you at the hotel and transfer you to the airport.
